Damien Leone Teases Art's Backstory in Terrifier 4

Whilst we've seen Art lay waste to numerous people in a variety of gruesome ways across the Terrifier films, we've been given very little about his backstory. And it appears we may be getting that near the beginning of Terrifier 4.

Damien Leone Teases Art's Backstory in Terrifier 4 Opening Fifteen Minutes

Writer and director Damien Leone was briefly interviewed by Chris Parker of 3C Films at Texas Frightmare Weekend, and he revealed Terrifier 4 will be covering Art's backstory in the first 15 minutes.

“I know this word gets used a lot, but it’s going to be epic. It’s not going to disappoint. You’re going to get Art’s backstory, in the first 15 minutes of the movie.”

Leone has teased fans in other interviews recently stating, “The script for Terrifier 4 is under way and it is shaping up to be the most epic, horrifying, thrilling, emotional and satisfying conclusion to the Terrifier saga!”

Leone launched Terrifier in 2016, followed by Terrifier 2 in 2022. Terrifier 3 opened #1 at the box office last October, becoming the highest grossing unrated film of all time. David Howard Thornton and Lauren LaVera are expected to return to reprise their iconic roles.
