Tom Holland has offered us an update on the highly anticipated sequel to his iconic 80s horror Fright Night.
In an interview with SyFy Wire the writer-director went into a bit of detail regarding the upcoming sequel he is currently writing...and it looks like we've got a title!
"I’m writing a sequel to Fright Night now... I’m calling it Fright Night 2: Resurrection. Well, it’s the only way to protect myself: If you wanna see something done right, do it yourself."
"Of course, Charlie’s back, and so is Evil Ed. I’m bringing back everybody I can. I’m calling it Resurrection because we’ve got to resurrect Billy Cole and Jerry Dandridge. And now I’ll say no more.”
Looks like Holland is well underway as he also revealed he is around 31,000 words into writing the film. Fright Night 2: Resurrection will not follow the events of the 1988 sequel Fright Night 2, but will be a direct sequel to Holland's original film.
