Halloween Horror Nights is coming back big this year with Universal pulling out all the stops. And Universal have announced even more today for Universal Orlando's Halloween Horror Nights!
In addition to the previously announced Beetlejuice, The Haunting of Hill House, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and The Bride of Frankenstein; Universal have also announced Halloween Horror Nights Icons: Captured and six other original houses.
Halloween Horror Nights Icons: Captured will bring back some of Universal's most terrifying and beloved monsters and creatures from the last 30 years of HHN.
Over the last 30 years Halloween Horror Nights has introduced a murderer’s row of original characters. Now they’ve joined forces – some newly risen to true Icon status – to form a monstrous Hell of Fame, taunting and terrifying you at every turn.
You’ll meet Jack the Clown, The Storyteller, The Caretaker and many more – all in one house for the first time ever.
As you search for escape you’ll encounter tormented victims as well as each Icon’s demonic super fans.
Who’s the most evil of them all? Depending when you visit a different Icon will reign supreme.
Also announced today were six original scare houses as well as brand new scare zones and live entertainment.
This years original house include:
WELCOME TO SCAREY: HORROR IN THE HEARTLAND
CASE FILES: UNEARTHED
THE WICKED GROWTH: REALM OF THE PUMPKIN
PUPPET THEATER: CAPTIVE AUDIENCE
REVENGE OF THE TOOTH FAIRY

As for this year’s new Scare Zones, those include “Crypt TV,” “30 Years, 30 Fears,” “Seek and Destroy,” “Gorewood Forest,” and “Lights Camera Hacktion: Eddie’s Revenge.”
The biggest news here of course being Crypt TV partnering with HHN to bring some of their terrifying monsters to this years event. Launched in 2015 by Jack Davis and Eli Roth with Blumhouse Productions as an investor, it has given the horror world some truly remarkable monsters and horrors. In fact, its monsters have spawned five original series on Facebook Watch including The Birch and feature in Netflix anthology series Don’t Watch This.
Speaking to Deadline, film maker and Crypt TV co-creator Eli Roth sounded thrilled about some of their more memorable monsters making their debut at this years event.
“I’ve been going to horror nights for over 20 years now, both as a fan, and even working as a scare performer in the Hostel maze. It’s simply the best live scary event in the world, and we’re so honoured to bring our Crypt creatures there. Our fans have been watching our monsters for years and have been lobbying to see them at Horror Nights, and now they’ll finally get the chance to meet them face to face. There’s nobody better than the team at horror nights, they’re amazing partners and together we’re going to give the horror fans something truly spectacular.”
