Get ready horror fans as two more iconic characters from the wonderful world of horror will be joining Beetlejuice and the Ghosts of Hill House later this year.

Everyone's favourite chainsaw wielding maniac Leatherface will be on hand to terrify guests this year at both Universal's Orlando and Los Angeles parks as The Texas Chainsaw Massacre gets set to make its return to Halloween Horror Nights.

Inspired by the 1974 iconic slasher film “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre,” the “Halloween Horror Nights” mazes will depict a harrowing and intense experience as guests try to outrun the maniacal Leatherface and his unrelenting chainsaw. Guests will embark on a killer journey through a series of familiar scenes from the film and eventually fall victim to a family of cannibals. From a dilapidated gas station to an eerie, old farmhouse, they will witness unimaginable horrors around every corner, soon discovering that nowhere is safe from the demented Leatherface.

You’ve seen the 1974 horror classic. Now It’s your turn to experience it for yourself. Enter the dilapidated Sawyer house and meet Leatherface and his demented family of merciless butchers. Will you make it out in one piece? Or in pieces?

  • Step right inside the story experiencing every nightmarish moment for yourself.

  • Explore every familiar room of the Sawyer home, from the parlor to the blood-splattered kitchen.

  • You’ll face carving knives. Meat cleavers. Meat hooks. And of course, that roaring, slicing, flesh-ripping chainsaw.

Universal Monsters legendary Bride of Frankenstein is also set to appear at this years event as Universal Monsters: The Bride of Frankenstein Lives maze is announced. The maze looks to resurrect one of its most iconic monsters as it puts fans into a continued storyline from the 1935 film starring Else Lanchester and Boris Karolff.

At its core, Halloween Horror Nights is an extension of the horror film legacy originated by Universal Pictures, and the event continues to honour its blockbuster history with a haunted maze highlighting one of the studio’s most sinister creatures – The Bride of Frankenstein. “Universal Monsters: The Bride of Frankenstein Lives” picks up where the 1935 classic film “The Bride of Frankenstein” left off, thrusting guests into chaos as the Bride becomes an unstoppable scientist and begins her mission to revive Frankenstein’s Monster. Her unwavering quest to find eternal life will come at a cost, and guests will soon find themselves entwined in a frenzied battle in their daring attempt to escape.

This time, the Bride of Frankenstein is stepping out of the shadows and taking her fate into her own bloody hands. The mate will have her monster. And the monster his mate.

  • Recoil in horror as she tries to bring him back at any cost, honing her diabolical genius one harvested body part at a time.

  • Don’t get caught between her and the Brides of Dracula, who she captures and drains in hopes of reanimating her love.
