John Krasinski is returning to the Quiet Place franchise for a threequel.
As revealed by THR, Krasinski will write and direct the upcoming film slated for a summer 2027 release.
John Krasinski is officially returning to the franchise that catapulted him to A-list director status. Krasinski will write and direct A Quiet Place Part III, with Paramount setting a summer release date of July 9, 2027.
No other details are known at this time, but hopefully this will see the return of Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmonds & Noah Jupe.
This one has been in the works for a little while; Krasinski did originally announce in 2022, he was aiming for a 2025 release for a fourth A Quiet Place film. However, it never materialised.

The franchise started from a script by Scott Beck and Bryan Woods, with Krasinski directing and starring alongside his wife Emily Blunt. The film's success spawned a sequel in 2020, a prequel starring Lupita Nyong'o & Joseph Quinn last year and horror-survival video game 'A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead' shortly after. COmbined the franchise has grossed more than $900 million worldwide.
Krasinski and Allyson Seeger’s Sunday Night Production will produce via their first look with Paramount, along with Platinum Dunes. The director later took to Instagram to tease the release date.
