Grizzly Night Releasing This February

Lightbulb Film Distribution have announced a release date for their upcoming creature feature based on a true story.

On August 12th, 1967, in Montana's Glacier National Park, the unthinkable happened: On the same night, nine miles apart, there were not one-but two-fatal grizzly bear attacks.

Grizzly Night will release on digital and DVD February 2nd, 2026. The film draws inspiration from the aptly named 'Night of the Grizzlies', when two grizzly bears attacked and fatally injured two 19-year old women. The event took place Aug 12th - 13th, 1967 in Montana's Glacier National Park, and was the park's first recorded fatal bear attack in 57 years.

The film, written by Bo Bean, Katrina Mathewson and Tanner Bean, marks a feature directorial debut for Burke Doeren. The film stars Brec Bassinger (Final Destination: Bloodlines), Jack Griffo (The Thundermans), Charles Esten (The Postman), Oded Fehr (The Mummy, Star Trek Discovery),  Joel Johnstone (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel), Josh Zuckerman (Feast), Matt Lintz (The Walking Dead) and Ali Skovbye (The Man in the High Castle).
