Whilst Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga may have said their last goodbyes to The Warrens, Warner Brothers certainly hasn't. In addition to the TV Series that is currently in the works, a prequel film is set to be released next year.

The Conjuring: First Communion will release September 10th, 2027. Plot details are being kept quiet as things are, but the film will be directed by Rodrigue Huart. Richard Naing and Ian Goldberg will be writing the script.

People have been on this journey with us for a dozen years now. I think they want more.” - Conjuring franchise producer Peter Safran

The Conjuring Prequel Releasing in 2027
As I said above, this film joins an already under development TV Series which has yet to be given a release date. Unlike the prequel film, this series is reportedly looking to continue the story established within The Conjuring films.
