Independent horror film, inspired by a true story, is now crowdfunding over on IndieGoGo. The film, written by Roberta Griffin, follows troubled girl Izzy (Rebekah Kennedy) as she battles demonic possession after demons infest her mobile phone.

Based on terrifyingly true events, when Demons infest the cell phone of a troubled teenage girl, demonic possession follows and forces her atheist parents to seek out the help of a catholic priest. Tortured and used as their puppet, mental breakdowns and violent outbursts are inflicted upon Izzy as these demons drag her through hell.
Just like any other independent film, The Demons Within is a feature length film produced without the financial backing of a major studio or production company. whilst they made be an indie horror, they have managed to pull in some truly iconic actors from the genre. Full cast includes Emmy nominated Naomi Grossman (American Horror Story), Vincent M Ward (The Walking Dead), Rebekah Kennedy (Law & Order), Yan Birch (The People Under The Stairs), Felissa Rose (Sleepaway Camp), Alisha Seaton (Heavenly Deposit) and Elizabeth "Lizzy" Small (12 Pups of Christmas).
The Demons Within is hoping to secure funding through IndieGoGo and go into production late May 2022.
