Ghostbusters & Morbius delayed until 2021

As reported by Variety, Sony Pictures has pulled the release of a number of big films originally set to be released this year, including Morbius and Ghostbusters: Afterlife.

Unfortunately due to the ongoing Corona Virus pandemic Sony has taken a bold move to completely push the releases of basically every one of it's major films until 2021.

Jason Reitman's highly anticipated sequel- Ghostbusters: Afterlife- was originally set for a July 10th 2020 release; Sony has set a new release date of March 5th 2021. The original release date for Jared Leto's Morbius, July 31st 2020, has now been pushed to March 19th 2021. Uncharted won't release now until Dcember 8th 2021, with Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway now set to release January 15th 2021.

Sony announced the unexpected news earlier today as they have moved all but two films (Fatherhood and Greyhound) from this years release list.

The list of productions and releases that have been halted or delayed due to CoVid-19 over the last few weeks has not stopped growing! We can only hope every other studio doesn't follow suit and abandon all 2020 releases.
