Unfortunately here in the UK, we don't have events such as Universal's Halloween Horror Nights. Fortunately for us horror fans that can't afford to make the transatlantic trip, it looks like Leatherface is leaving Texas and heading to Halloween Haunt Fest- a scare event right here in the UK!

Leatherface Heads to the UK This October for Halloween Haunt Fest
Halloween Haunt Fest have gone all out for their opening year, and agreed rights to bring Leatherface to the UK for the very first time in an exclusive scare event running from 17th October - 1st November in Hertfordshire, England.
Horror fans, thrill seekers, and the bravest souls, prepare for the UK’s most terrifying new Halloween event. This year, Halloween Haunt Fest will make its debut, and it’s bringing something truly legendary. For the first time ever in the UK, the official Texas Chainsaw Massacre scare attraction is coming to life! This UK exclusive, pulse-pounding scare maze will transport guests straight into the nightmare world of Leatherface in an experience so real, you’ll swear you’re inside the film.
Halloween Haunt Fest is the only scare event in the UK to feature an officially licensed Texas Chainsaw Massacre experience in 2025. With the designers working with the filmmakers to transport guests into the most iconic scenes from the 1974 film with one of horrors most feared families! This will be the first time that Leatherface has featured in an attraction in the UK!
Fans of the horror classic will step directly into the chaos, navigating a twisted, blood-soaked labyrinth where Leatherface and his deranged family are waiting for their next victims. With cinematic sets, horrifyingly realistic effects, and live scare actors, this attraction is designed to shock, terrify, and immerse like never before.

Halloween Haunt Fest is looking to shake up the scare scene here in the UK, delivering heart-pounding, high-intensity horror across multiple scream-inducing attractions. The Texas Chainsaw Massacre maze is just one of the headline experiences awaiting those brave enough to enter. Visitors can expect movie-quality scares, atmospheric entertainment, and eerie encounters at every turn, making this a Halloween event unlike anything seen in the UK before.
As said above The Texas Chainsaw Massacre isn't the only scare maze at the event. The team behind this have also announced another two scare zones (both of which are original concepts) with more to come.
First up is The Trials of Jane Wenham - The Hertfordshire Witch, where horror and history collide in a unique attraction that thrusts guests back to the year of 1712.

You’re in the witches shoes where every step could be your last. Welcome to The Trials of Jane Wenham – where the past is very much alive. The trial is about to begin, and Jane awaits her fate. Next up is another original concept that looks to blend sci-fi and horror- E.D.E.N.

Guests can expect four immersive scare attractions, photo ops, specialty acts, street theatre, two themed bars featuring an array of horror themed food & drink, street food, a fun fair and so much more!
