Of course with the film being delayed fans are longing to get any more information regarding the upcoming sequel. And John Carpenter has given fans a bit more to get excited about whilst recently speaking about the film.
Speaking with Tony Timpone at this years virtual Fantasia International Film Festival, Carpenter was full of praise for Halloween Kills and the film's director David Gordon Green. He referred to Kills as brutal explaining it's "a slasher movie times one hundred", as well as teasing a significantly higher body count.
“It’s the quintessential slasher film! It is so intense…oh my God…it even stuns me how incredible it is. David just did a great job. Can’t wait to have you see it.”

Carpenter of course is not the first to go on record praising the sequel. The man behind the mask, James Jude Courtney, has described the film as "bigger, badder and meaner", and let's not forget the great reactions Kills had from its test screening.
