Hallmark Brings Horror Home This Christmas

Hallmark is set to bring horror home this Christmas with the announcment of three new tree ornaments for fans to enjoy. Yes perhaps it is too early to be thinking about the festive season but Hallmark has given us something to look forward to in some sense.

You're gonna need a bigger tree for the first ornament!

Hallmark's first announced ornament is none other than the infamous great white, aptly named Bruce after Spielberg's lawyer, that terrorised the small island of Amity in Jaws. The ornament is modelled after the film's climax with Bruce coming complete with one of Hooper's oxygen tanks in his mouth.

"Get ready for edge-of-your-seat suspense when you display this Jaws Christmas tree ornament. Featuring the dangerous great white shark that terrorized the seaside community of Amity—and the oxygen tank that ultimately caused its demise—this docile decoration pays homage to the classic thriller Jaws."

The keepsake ornament is crafted by Orville Wilson and Tracy Larsen and is expected to be available this October.

Beware of hitchhiking ghosts!

Fans of Disney's The Haunted Mansion now have the chance to add those three loveable hitchhiking ghosts (Ezra, Phineas and Gus) from the iconic ride to their tree with Hallmark's second announcement. This is my favourite ride in Disney, along with Splash Mountain, so I'm pretty excited by this one!

"Beware, your Doom Buggy has just crossed paths with three hitchhiking ghosts: Ezra Beane, Professor Phineas Plump and Gus. Of course, if you love to read the witty wordplay on the tombstones and waltz with the spirits in the ballroom at The Haunted Mansion, you won't mind these eerie travelers making themselves at home on your tree. Relive the fun of a visit to the Disney Parks when you press the button on this Christmas ornament to make the happy haunts light up and play audio from the beloved attraction (battery-operated). We think you'll agree they deserve a place in the dead center of your holiday decor."

This ornament, crafted by Ken Crow, even lights up and plays music from the beloved Disney ride! The ornament is expected to be available this July.

Ever watched Stranger Things and thought to yourself, "Hey, that Demogorgon would make a great Christmas decoration!"

Well Hallmark have you covered by turning the menacing creature that stalked the inhabitants of Hawkins into a tree ornament for you.

"Transform your holiday decor from the everyday simplicity of Hawkins, Indiana, to the extraordinary complexity of The Upside Down. Featuring the monstrous Demogorgon, the paranormal creature from the otherworldly alternate dimension of "Stranger Things," this Christmas tree ornament will thrill fans of the groundbreaking Netflix original series."

The ornament, crafted by Orville Wilson, is expected to be available this October.

I don't know about you guys but I think I'm gonna have to make room on my tree for these this year.
