Don't Breathe 2 Greenlit With New Director

The Blind Man will be returning for Don't Breathe 2 as Fede Alvarez has his sequel greenlit. The Hollywood Reporter broke the news today as Alvarez takes a step back from the director's chair. Don't fret though as Rodo Sayagues, co-writer for Don't Breathe and Evil Dead, will be replacing him making his directorial debut.
As for the story, things are being kept quiet at the moment. All that is known is the sequel will be set several years after the events of the first film with the Blind Man living in quiet solace...until his past sins catch up to him.
Alvarez and Sayagues have written the script with production set to begin this April. And just in case you were wondering...Stephen Lang will be reprising his role.
