Bunny Rabbit | Now Available on Digital
Australian post apocalyptic cannibalistic survival horror film BUNNY RABBIT is now available on digital here in the UK, USA & Australia.
I mean if that above sentence doesn't sell the film, I don't know what will. Anyway, set in the aftermath of a climate collapsed Australia, BUNNY RABBIT follows a young woman who roams the ruins of a world she never got to grow up in. Raised on scavenged books and B-Movies, she lives alone in an old shack she once shared with her father. Supplies are scarce and food is running out. There’s nothing left to hunt. Nothing except other people...
Directed by James Branson and produced by Taylor Thompson of Sneaky Films, BUNNY RABBIT stars Kate Wilson in her feature debut as the titular character, alongside Saxon Cook as The Hitchhiker and Ôntrei as The Intruder. Australian country music star Andy Golledge makes a striking on-screen turn as The Father.
The film's award-winning cinematography comes from the young and immensely talented Aemon Barzanji, whose work on this earned him an Australian Cinematography Society award. The film’s original score was composed by James Branson and Ôntrei, with original music by Andy Golledge.
“I want to invite audiences into a nightmarish vision of a post apocalyptic Australia and the result of the harsh reality of survival with only one source of food remaining - MAN!”

“In late 2019, a dark orange hue descended on Australia and an apocalyptic fire swallowed the land, destroying 243,000 square kilometres of territory and thousands of homes. So what would be the consequences of a truly apocalyptic climate disaster? How would individuals behave? How might we treat others when resources are scarce? What–or who–do we eat when there’s nothing left? That’s what I was thinking about when I was writing BUNNY RABBIT.” - writer-director James Branson.
After selling out its UK debut at FrightFest, the film is now available on digital in the UK, Australia & the US. It is now available to rent or buy from Sneaky Films HERE. You can check out the trailer below.
