They Live Getting 4K Ultra HD Release

Shout! Factory are bringing the iconic John Carpenter film home later this year on 4K Ultra HD for the first time.

On December 8, 2020, Shout! Factory celebrates the politically-charged science fiction thriller They Live with a new 4K UHD/Blu-ray™ release, as well as a Limited Edition NECA action figure and Sacred Bones 7” vinyl. There are currently five different exclusive offers to choose from via their website. Some of which include the soundtrack on vinyl and NECA's brand new Frank Armitage (Keith David) action figure.

Nada (Roddy Piper), a wanderer without meaning in his life, discovers a pair of sunglasses capable of showing the world the way it truly is. As he walks the streets of Los Angeles, Nada notices that both the media and the government are comprised of subliminal messages meant to keep the population subdued, and that most of the social elite are skull-faced aliens bent on world domination. With this shocking discovery, Nada fights to free humanity from the mind-controlling aliens.
