Salem's Lot Remake to Release This September

The upcoming Salem's Lot remake will release later this September. Whilst we eagerly await any footage still or even a trailer from the remake, Warner Bros has confirmed the film will be releasing exclusively to cinemas September 9th 2022.

This remake will in fact mark the first time this King novel has actually made it to the big screen, as previous adaptations were television special series. James Wan is producing Salem’s Lot 2022 for Warner Bros. and New Line, with Gary Dauberman (It, The Nun, Annabelle Comes Home) writing the script and also directing. Roy Lee and Mark Wolper will also produce, with Dauberman on board also as an executive producer.

Haunted by an incident from his childhood, author Ben Mears returns to his hometown of Jerusalem’s Lot in search of inspiration for his next book, only to discover the town is being preyed upon by a bloodthirsty vampire and his loyal servant.

The cast includes Lewis Pullman, Makenzie Leigh, Alfre Woodard, Bill Camp, John Benjamin Hickey, Nicholas Crovetti, Jordan Preston Carter, William Sadler, Spencer Treat Clark, Cade Woodward, Debra Christofferson, and Pilou Asbaek.
