Hit indie horror comedy New Fears Eve is now available on Blu-ray.

Cineverse is giving horror collectors the blood-soaked holiday hit New Fears Eve with their Blu-Ray release, giving fans the definitive way to experience one of the year's most talked-about independent slashers.

Following an international multi award-winning festival run and a successful streaming debut, New Fears Eve has become a breakout favorite among horror fans, blending inventive kills, all practical effects, and dark comedy into a new holiday horror tradition.

Directed by P.J. Starks and Eric Huskisson,New Fears Eve follows three friends trapped inside a mandatory New Year's Eve company party as a masked killer known only as The Doctor turns the celebration into a gruesome fight for survival.

The film features an ensemble cast including Dave Sheridan (Scary Movie),Felissa Rose (Sleepaway Camp), and Hannah Fierman (V/H/S), and Final Destination creator Jeffrey Reddick.

The Blu-ray includes 13 Killer featurettes including:

  • New Year, New Fear: A Killer Creation

  • Silent But Deadly: Creating A New Slasher Icon

  • Hippocratic Hurt: A PhD in Torture and many more...

It's one I throughly enjoyed, and would recommend anyone giving this a watch. For me, New Fears Eve doesn’t just walk into the crowded field of indie slashers — it barrels in like a masked nightmare come to life, bathed in neon gore and unapologetically committed to delivering a bloody good time.

From its festival buzz to its steady climb on streaming charts, this self-aware horror comedy has already carved out a place for itself among genre fans who crave practical kills and laugh-out-loud moments alongside their splatter. You can check out my full review HERE.

However, not everyone is a fan. But, how do you stick two fingers up to the crappy reviews and people shitting all over your film I hear you cry? Well you edit them into a brand new trailer promoting your "exceedingly annoying, completely incompetent piece of shit film that makes people want to kill themselves". And yes, it's as fantastic as it sounds. Enjoy!
