When it comes to iconic monsters, Bigfoot has got to be up there as one of them. And of course, he's had his fair share of film/television interpretations over the years (some great...some not so great). Now the face behind the murderous Poohbear in 2023's Winnie the Pooh: Blood & Honey is introducing us to his version of Bigfoot.

Written and directed by Craig David Dowsett, the film from CD Productions follows a group of friends who end up in a fight for their life after encountering the terrifying monster on a camping trip gone wrong. In Bigfoot Primal Fear-
A group camping trip in the woods turns into their worst nightmare as they soon realise, they are not alone out there, and someone or something is hunting them. Every step could be their last as they try to escape their fate.
The cast features some well known names from the indie horror scene here in the UK. The cast includes Charlene Aldridge (Fyre Rises), Matthew Nutall (Rise of the Footsoldier: Vengeance), Amber Doig-Thorne (Mr Hyde: The Untold Story), Josh Batsford, Alexander Garcia (Expend4les), Daniel Lee Barnett and Ryan Noire (Sunray: Fallen Soldier). Also starring are American Bigfoot expert Ryan “RPG” Golembeske from the US series Expedition Bigfoot, and DJ Brewster from the US series Alaskan Killer Bigfoot.

Bigfoot will be played by the film's writer-director Dowsett, who donned the make-up to bring Rhys Frake-Waterfield's murderous Winnie-the-Pooh to life for Blood & Honey. The actor has since turned to film making after the surprising success of the indie horror.
"After some success playing the role of Winnie-The-Pooh from Winnie The Pooh: Blood And Honey, I have now started writing, producing and directing my own movies. I'm excited to share my directional debut with you all."
The film, shot right here in the UK, has not long finished production with Dowsett hoping to release the film later this year, or early next year. In an interesting turn of events, to date this is the first (and only) Bigfoot feature length horror film to be shot in the United Kingdom. You can check out the first trailer below.
