Michael Makes a Triumphant Return to the Big Screen

To all the cast and crew on this film, as a lifelong Halloween fan...thank you from the bottom of my heart. Truly incredible work. Oh my God guys....like holy shit, what a film! Michael is back and even more brutal than he was in Carpenter's original film.

His sheer brutality in this film was perfect and gave us fans not only some of the best death scenes in the franchise...but the Michael Myers we had been longing for since 1978.

Cast was brilliant, all clicked very well on screen. Was amazing seeing Jamie Lee Curtis return to her iconic role as Laurie Strode. Andi Matichak was particularly good as well, I think she's gonna go on to do well in her career.

The story was simple but well written and it worked well. Fantastic comedic parts in there as well! I won't spoil it but there was one small twist that I really didn't like. But consider it a small hiccup in an otherwise flawless film.

There is a lot of homages and nods to previous Halloween films throughout the entire movie so keep an eye out. The score...my God the score! Utterly fantastic work from Carpenter and his sons. I can't really say much else about it without ruining it so I'm shutting up now.

THIS is the sequel we had been wanting and hoping for. It is easily as good as the original and follows up nicely.

What a film!
