Kourtney's 2022 Halloween Picks

I am someone who watches horror movies all year round so when it comes to creating my Halloween watchlist I like to include movies that make me feel most halloweeny if you know what I mean. I like to watch most of these movies every Halloween but throw in a few random horrors to change it up. This list includes a variety of scary flicks and there should be something for everyone. So if you are in need of some ideas on what to watch this Halloween then keep reading!

Death Becomes her (1992)

When a fading actress learns of a miracle cure that prevents ageing and turns you immortal, she sees it as a way to outdo her long-time rival.

Poltergeist (1982)

A family's dream home turns into their worst nightmare when evil spirits rise up to torment them and possess the soul of their innocent daughter.

Casper (1995)

An afterlife therapist and his daughter meet a friendly young ghost when they move into a crumbling mansion in order to rid the premises of wicked spirits.

Killer Klowns from Outer Space (1988)

When teenagers Mike and Debbie see a comet crash outside their sleepy small town, they investigate and discover a pack of murderous aliens who look very much like circus clowns. They try to warn the local authorities, but everyone assumes their story is a prank. Meanwhile, the clowns set about harvesting and eating as many people as they can.

Us (2019)

Adelaide Wilson and her family are terrorised and attacked whilst on vacation by mysterious figures dressed in red. Upon closer inspection, the Wilsons realise that the intruders are exact lookalikes of them.

Monster House (2006)

Three teenagers discover that their neighbour's house is really a living, breathing, scary monster that hates children. Soon they decide to try and destroy the heart of the house and kill it.

I Know What You Did Last Summer (1997)

After a night out revelry, four friends accidentally run over a man and dump his body to conceal their secret, unaware that they following year they will be stalked by a hook-wielding killer.

The Haunted Mansion (2003)

A realtor and his wife and children are summoned to a mansion, which they soon discover is haunted, and while they attempt to escape, he learns an important lesson about the family he has neglected.

A group of friends discover a haunted house on Halloween and decide to explore it. However, things do not go as per plan and the night turns deadly.

Idle Hands (1999)

A teenaged slacker finds his parents turned into headless Halloween decorations and realises that his right hand has a blood-thirsty mind of it's own that wreaks havoc.

Cloverfield (2008)

After a giant monster attacks New York City, Rob, Hud, Lily and Marlena form a group and desperately try to rescue their friend Beth who is trapped in her apartment.

The Witches (1990)

While on vacation with his grandmother, a young boy encounters a group of witches who are plotting to turn all the world's children into mice.

Silent Hill (2006)

Rose and her daughter, Sharon, leave their house to go to Silent Hill. On their way Rose meets with an accident knocking her unconscious and when she awakes, Sharon is missing.

Hell House LLC (2015)

Five years after an unexplained malfunction causes the death of 15 tour-goers and staff on the opening night of a Halloween haunted house tour, a documentary crew travels back to the scene of the tragedy to find out what really happened.

The Addams Family (1991)

Con artists plan to fleece an eccentric family using an accomplice who claims to be their long-lost uncle.

Jennifer's Body (2009)

A newly-possessed high-school cheerleader turns into a succubus who specializes in killing her male classmates after she is sacrificed to Satan. When her best friend finds out about it she tries to put an end to the horror.

After a narrow escape over four decades ago, Laurie Strode comes face-to-face with Michael Myers after he escapes from captivity. She must confront her worst fears and put an end to his killing spree.

I hope you all have a great Halloween! I will be spending my Halloween night munching on popcorn and watching the rest of Guillermo Del Toro's Cabinet of Curiosities, currently streaming on Netflix. I am absolutely loving it so far and I highly recommend!
