Jason Blum and James Jude Courtney talk Halloween Kills

Updated: Apr 20, 2020

Hopefully it won't be too much longer before we get our first proper glimpse at the highly anticipated sequel Halloweeen Kills, but for now all we can do is wait.

Luckily Jason Blum and James Jude Courtney have given us fans something to get excited about.

Too Fab caught up with Blum at the premiere of Fantasy Island, and although he remained rather quiet about Halloween Kills he did say something

"Halloween Kills is a very big movie. I can tell you that."

Make of that whatever you will, but it doesn't really give us much to go on. Much to our delight though, The Shape himself (James Jude Courtney) gave fans a bit more insight than Blum did. Speaking to Pop Culture With Pat he explained the movie is more intense than the first.

"We have to make the natural progression from 1978 to 2018 to Halloween Kills - the ante has been upped. The ticking bomb has to be more intense. Otherwise we're just doing what we've done before. We pumped up the volume on this one. We've progressed late into the night, and now that everybody realises what the stakes are...it's reaching a head. It's [the 2018 film] on speed."

I for one cannot wait to see this! Just annoyed we've gotta wait til October 16th to see it.

James Jude Courtney, Jamie Lee Curtis, Judy Greer, Andi Matichak and Dylan Arnold all reprised their roles with original Halloween cast members Charles Cyphers, Kyle Richards and Nancy Stephens joining them. Anthony Michael Hall also stars as Tommy Doyle.
