Hooked On Horror's Weekly Round-Up (16th - 22nd March)

Hello boils and ghouls, thanks for joining us all this week. Here's our weekly round-up of everything that's happened this week in the world of horror. Enjoy!

As the CoVid-19 pandemic continues to worsen, UK cinemas (and many other businesses) have been closed indefinitely.

FX dropped another two hilarious teaser trailers for Season 2 of What We Do In The Shadows, you can see them here and here. They then followed up by giving us the first full trailer for the second season. And it looks fantastic!

Corona Virus has already hindered and delayed several films and TV shows. Now Lionsgate has added another three films to the list as they delay the release of Antebellum, Run and Spiral: From the Book of Saw.

Statement issued by Lionsgate Pictures

News dropped that Universal were releasing The Invisible Man and The Hunt via VOD services. They were released Friday 20th March and can be found on Amazon Prime Video, Xfinity, Google Play, Vudu, Apple TV, Playstation Store, Sky Store & Fandango. Other studios are following suit with some of their releases.

Due to a lot of people now being stuck in isolation/quarantine, Shudder have come to rescue. Well from boredom anyway. They are currently offering a 30-day free trial to new customers.

The Blair Witch video game is now heading to Nintendo Switch. The release date is yet to be confirmed. I recently bought and finished the game on Playstation, and I couldn't recommend it more. Was a fantastic game, and it scared the hell out of me.

The incredible actor who voices everyone's favourite killer doll, Chucky, celebrated his 70th birthday. Happy Birthday Brad Dourif!

Simon Pegg and Nick Frost gave everyone a much needed laugh by re-making the iconic 'Plan Scene' from Shaun of the Dead for the Corona Virus pandemic. And yes it is as funny and brilliant as it sounds- you can see it here.

**SPOILER ALERT**

Jeffrey Dean Morgan shared a pretty kick-ass behind the scenes picture from the latest episode of The Walking Dead. The episode shocked fans as Negan unexpectedly killed Alpha followed by the reveal that he was working with Carol.

Jeffrey Dean Morgan shared the picture via his Instagram Page.

Good fun with a few b-horror movies this week as we get a trailer for Exorcism at 60,000 Feet and a clip from upcoming creature feature Abominable.

Hope you're all keeping safe out there. As always we'll continue to bring you the latest and best in horror. Remember to follow guidelines and keep social distancing, and if you're struggling with people keeping their distance from you...just take advice from scream queen Jamie Lee Curtis herself.

Stay safe folks. Remember we're not obsessed, we're Hooked On Horror.
